TOMORROW IS THE END OF THE WORLD!!! Beware. XDXD
Today's choir rehearsal was quite good, although I had to sit aside as one of the 'sickies' XDXD; I had a sore throat today XDXD.
Ms. Lim came to hear us sing...And her remarks were...harsh, but true.
To all my fellow choir members, here is how I feel about choir:
Although we get scolded often and although we have really bad times, I never regretted joining choir. Sure, sometimes I wonder if life in band or some other CCA would be better, but the good times we shared as a choir reminds me at every second of everyday, that I have made the right choice. Perhaps we don't have cool-looking uniforms like band or fancy footwork like dance, but we--each and every one of us--all have wonderful voices.
I decided to join choir when I was a Sec 1 simply because I love singing, and I wanted to make the best out of my own voice. In my opinion, being in choir has helped me in more ways than one. As all the other performing arts know, it is not easy to go up in front of a million people and perform for them a 100% perfect show. It is not easy to compete with other schools whose skills you have not heard of. And it will not be easy to stand on a stage, in a concert hall filled with people and sing for them and three judges. It is not, and will never be easy.
But...
No matter how hard it is going to get, I am prepared to stand with Swiss Choir through it all. Singing is something people should enjoy, so let's make our S.Y.F enjoyable, okay?
That past vanishes in a blizzard of pink and white... 2:40 AM
